Excessive inappropriate use antibiotics can initiate emergence antibiotic resistance in bacteria. Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) is believed to be a reservoir for bacteria, including coli. This study aimed perform enumeration, isolation, characterization, evaluation properties resistance-coding genes encoded by plasmid E. isolates WWTP dr. General Hospital (RSUDZA). The was conducted through several stages, isolation quantification coli, testing, confirmation testing ESBL-E. isolates, DNA, amplification TEM, SHV, CTX-M genes. results showed that sum pit tank, aeration final tank contained at 7.5x104 CFU/mL, 3x102 1x102 respectively.
